Bouygues BVB selects ALOATEC to monitor the Chernobyl nuclear power plant.

aloa_DETECT FIRE, early fire detection solution will be implanted with 12 hight resolution thermal cameras (8-12μm infrared camera LWIR)

Bouygues BVB [1] selects ALOATEC to monitor the Chernobyl nuclear power plant.

Our early fire detection solution aloa_DETECT FIREwill be implanted with 12 hight resolution thermal cameras (8-12μm infrared camera LWIR)

The cameras will be positioned under the new safe confinement arch built by Bouygues & VINCI which will be moved above the building in November 2016.

  • Design of steel boxes with lead shielding in partnership with our research in July / August 2016.
  • Delivery of the first components in September 2016: Underwater cameras and housing for fixing under the arch.
  • In November, the cameras will slide over the plant with the movement of the arch.
  • Commissioning in March 2017.
